She says, “When Meg asked me to be involved with this Diploma course at inception I was thrilled. We not only teach coaching itself, but make sure our students feel totally prepared and able to market their new businesses professionally when they qualify. It’s this that makes our coaches feel totally prepared and able to start businesses and coach clients professionally when they pass. We have very high ethical standards around the coaching industry and, feel it's of paramount importance to instill these into our students, so they can work responsibly and ethically too"
Meg Reid - Co Managing Director
Meg is the UK's leading specialist at coaching with women who want to bridge a gap in their lives. She works with American women re-locating to England, women in mid-life and women in supportive organsational roles in Universities.
Her background, which includes running her own Theatre Company, directing plays and touring throughout the UK, as well as her previous teaching career, means she is exceptionally well placed to found this truly inspiring course in coaching.
She says, “I wanted to provide a very different kind of training. I’ve met so many people who have invested a lot of time and money in getting trained as coaches but then find that they don’t feel confident enough to use their qualification. I created a course where students learn all the theory and then they practise and practise – all in the company of the same small group of like-minded students and exceptionally supportive and experienced tutors. Our students are coaching in banks, universities, health service sectors and the voluntary sector. They appear on TV and Radio and they work in corporate and private practice, coaching clients from here to New Zealand, I’m very proud of them!”
