Just this week, we caught up with UKCP coach Raz, and are thrilled to hear how she's been developing her coaching.
Coaching has changed my life in the following ways;
- Listening - not to just friends and family, but in everyday life - has transformed my emotional intelligence. I pick up on the subtleties of body language more than I did before.
- I apply coaching to the 1-2-1's I have with my team at work. I'm also developing a 4 month 'Managers that Coach' course to deliver to the business I am working for at the moment. If this is the one thing that I leave behind when I leave, it is a coaching culture - the techniques are so powerful and do wonders for levels of motivation and satisfaction in the office.
- The Diploma also re-ignited my desire to become self employed. So although I am working full time now, I am developing my business on the side with the objective of being a full time self employed person in 10 months. My website will be live soon!
- I have offered free coaching to patients at Moorfields Eye Hospital which is both incredibly fulfilling and also a way for me to 'give back'.
- I also made some pretty awesome friends on the course. I wonder if I would have met them if the course hasn't happened?
